Windsurfing and Kiteboarding Wold Cup 2014
The best world’s surfers have already competed in Fuerteventura for the last 29 years. The Canary Island welcomes from July 18 to August 2, 2014 the Windsurfing and Kiteboarding Wold Cup.
This annual event for the windsurf and kiteboard lovers and aficionados, organized by René Egli together with the Pájara Town Hall will take place in the Sotavento Beach, one of the most breath-taking beaches of the Canarian geography.
During the week of the competition a total of four categories will compete: Kiteboarding Freestyle, Kiteboarding Slalom, Windsurfing Freestyle and Windsurfing Slalom. The show is guaranteed with the best kiteboarding and windsurfing by the world’s best competitors.
The different categories will compete at the High Wind Spot of Fuerteventura, the programme is the following:
Almeria, the land of cinema
There is no other region in Spain where films are at its core than Almeria, one of the great destinations during your holidays. Its contrasting landscapes have been the setting for over 500 films in the last 60 years, from the dry lands of Tabernas to the rugged mountains with luscious vegetation, going through its coasts, cliffs and virgin beaches such as Cabo de Gata.

This protected area boasts more than 10 kilometres of paradisiac beaches, where we can take some days to unwind on their crystal waters and fine and golden sands.
We can find a great range of beaches from the smallest and most secluded coves where you can enjoy the rugged landscape and do snorkelling to the largest beaches where we won’t have any problem to find a space to lay our towel.
