In June we started the #ELBAFAMILY series, thanks to which we will discover in each new episode one of the employees that made up our staff. We will know details about their work and life, and we will understand how they make everything possible.

On this occasion we present Marcela, the Executive Maître of Elba Madrid Alcalá, who declares herself "hopelessly in love" with her work. "I like the contact with the client, and that is the main reason to dedicate myself to hotel industry and events organization", she says.

The task of an Executive Maître implies important responsibilities, especially in a hotel such as Elba Madrid Alcalá, with an intense activity of events and weddings. "The main objective of my position is the satisfaction of the client, both those who come to enjoy Madrid for tourism and those who come for business. And there are also those who choose us to celebrate their wedding ... What a great honor to participate in such an important day for two people who decide to start a family! ", says our dear Executive Maître.

Marcela confesses us why she chose Elba Hotels to work. "I was looking for a job and I was struck by the fact that there were many comments from former Elba workers highlighting the good work environment. Today I can confirm it", she declares. Her answer makes us proud, as well as Marcela's enthusiasm for improvement. After finishing a master's degree in Restaurant Management that trained her as Food & Beverage Director, our Executive Maître is already thinking in which master she will enroll the next course.  

In addition to be an extraordinary professional concerned about recycling herself, Marcela finds time for her great passions: the family she has created with her wife and daughter, and sports. She loves traveling through Spain with them, playing football, paddle tennis, chess, which she learned as a child with her father, going for a run with her dog, fishing ... "My goal is to help my family achieve their dreams and - she reveals - also achieve mine when I retire, which is to train a football team." Unstoppable Marcela!
