The best summer terraces
Summer is upon us, and with it, the terrace season. We’ll tell you about the best spots to have a drink outside.
Speaking about Spain in summer is synonymous with its lively streets, people walking around and enjoying our cuisine and, of course, the atmosphere on the terraces and what keeps them going.
Terrace season has begun with the arrival of June, when bars and restaurants offer their services outdoors and when the most unexpected cocktails can be found at our tables. Elba Hotels will tell you everything you need to know about this new terrace season.
The sun, a beer and a tapa are the main charms of summer’s arrival. Terraces have something special, something that stops you from leaving them and that makes you come back the next day. Maybe it’s the music, the cocktails or the heat, but the reality is that the Spanish summer wouldn’t really be summer without its terraces.
Terraces for eating or having a drink
It’s quite normal as summer approaches to find a wide range of offers at lunch or dinner time at almost any location along the coast. Hotels with terraces are part of this varied gastronomic offer and stand out as every year they are more meticulous about the quality of the product and the design of these charming terraces.
Possibly the most appealing are those terraces right on the beach ...great ones that pop up every summer by the sea like the terraces in Cadiz, and we love them.
Having a look at the Elba terraces in the south, if there’s one that stands out from the rest it’s our terrace with a chill-out area at the La Ballena Beach Club. It’s loved for its idyllic location right on the beach and also for the cuisine on offer, fresh fish and seafood from the Cadiz coast. Its chill-out area is also perfect to hold events.
