Babytherapy at Gran Hotel Elba Estepona

20 / 01 / 2015 - Beauty Corner

For a long time, at Hoteles Elba, we have been concerned with providing several treatments both in the first years of life of babies, and for women who have just been mummies or who are preparing to be so.

Advice and guidance of our experts offer the necessary attention, safety and control, within the babytherapy programme of our Thalasso Spa.

  • Aquazen adults/children/babies

Through aquatic body work, by means of floating techniques in the swimming pool, stretching and breathing control are carried out, by means of Water Yoga, in order to reach a body balance and relaxation advisable in pregnant women.

With the help of the therapist and the presence of the mother or the father in the facilities, the little ones can also enjoy this experience known as “returning to the womb”.

  • Chiromassage for children

A relaxing body massage is applied by the therapist for children between 4 and 17 years old. For this massage, 100% natural oil is used, for relieving tensions and trying to achieve relaxation and body balance.

  • Massage on babies

On this occasion, parents are the protagonists. With the help of a therapist, and following his guidelines, they will apply to the baby a relaxing body massage, using 100% natural oil. This will help to soothe colics, relieve stress and insomnia problems so habitual on many babies.

  • Pregnancy Chiromassage

To avoid tired legs, backache or abdominal bloating, the pregnancy chiromassage is applied by a specialist therapist, both at a local level and at a complete level. One of the best options during the pregnancy months.

  • Water stimulation for pregnant women /children

Another activity offered by our Baby Spa programme, is water stimulation, which allows physical and emotional preparation for birth and the postpartum period, especially working with those muscles which are involved during the maternity period.

For the little ones, this type of stimulation is focused on the adaptation to the aquatic environment, by means of games and organised activities, both at an individual level and in reduced groups.
