Spring is here and with it comes milder temperatures and the start of the golf season. The courses are all looking green and well cared for, although in places like the Canary Islands you can play your favourite sport at almost any time of year.

Are you a golf fan who still doesn’t know about the ANJOCAGolfCup? It is one of the most important sporting events on the island in which both professional and amateur players compete and enjoy golf in incomparable surroundings. Are you really going to miss it?

The ANJOCA Golf Cup Programme

The 12th ANCOJA Golf Cup takes place on Saturday, 4 May and for the third consecutive year will be held in the afternoon, with tee off at 13:00. The event will be held at the Fuerteventura Golf Club (par 72 with 18 holes) at the Elba Palace Golf, our hotel with a golf course on Fuerteventura.

The event is held in the Stableford individual format and the first three classified players in each of the 3 categories will be presented with various pieces of sports equipment, in addition to a trophy. Special prizes will also be awarded to the longest drive for both women and men and a prize for the best approach, as well as a grand draw for stays at Fuerteventura hotels and in other areas of Spain.

A cocktail hour will follow the tournament. The prizes will be awarded during the Gala Dinner following the cocktail hour, putting the finishing touch on the 12th ANJOCA Golf Cup.
