Rota is the nearest town to where the Elba Costa Ballena is found, and is well worth a visit. Take in the Castillo de Luna in the old part of the town which has a long maritime tradition going back centuries. Without a doubt, the biggest attraction is the 200km of beaches in Cádiz, with crystal clear sea and beaches that have to be seen to be believed! There are also nautical sports to be enjoyed and 22 golf courses are to be found around the area. In Cádiz itself, take in the old part of the city which is believed to be the oldest in Europe and get lost in its narrow streets. Jerez, Sanlúcar, Chiclana and the Puerto de Santa María are also places that are worth visiting.
