The Gran Hotel Elba Estepona & Thalasso Spa has won The World Luxury Hotel Awards

The five-star Gran Hotel Elba Estepona & Thalasso Spa has received the World Luxury Hotel Awards, thus becoming the only hotel in Spain to win the prize in the category Luxury Spa Hotel.

These awards were established as the definitive achievement to be obtained in the Hotel industry. The aim of these “Oscars for luxury hotels” is to take a further step towards the distinction of the best hotels and to succeed in differentiating between good hotels and exceptional hotels.

The World Luxury Hotel Awards are a global event that gives prizes to all the possible categories included in the industry of luxury hotels. As from this moment, the winners in each category become a benchmark for the rest of luxury hotels that aspire to achieve worldwide recognition of their facilities and the excellence of their services.

The Gran Hotel Elba Estepona & Thalasso Spa is an authentic oasis of peace and rest, located literally on the Mediterranean coast, and the hotel is inspired on the relaxation of the centuries-old marine thermal baths.

A new concept of a Medical Centre, dedicated to promoting health and wellness which it places at the disposal of the guests. This centre of thalassotherapy is based on the action of sea water. 

This latest award is added to the other prizes the hotel has won, thanks to the quality and service it offers its guests. In 2009 the hotel was a finalist for the same award “Luxury Spa Hotel” and that same year it won the award for the “Best Holiday Hotel in Spain”, given by Iniciativa Hotelelera. In 2007 the hotel was declared the “Most Excellent European Spa” and the “Most Excellent Hotel Business”; prizes given by Condé Nast Johanssens, as well as a long list of distinctions that we hope will continue to grow.
