Elba Almería Hotel and International Sports

Elba Almeria hotel has housed two of the teams at the XXV edition of Clásica de Almeria: The HTC-Columbia (USA) and SKY (UK). The competition was celebrated on Sunday, 28nd February, with a tour of 178 km and the participation of teams and riders of high quality, provided the event a remarkable international level. This major competition has become an international benchmark for a single day short runs with another four more candidates and it aims the Pro Tour category, the most important international cycling category.

The cyclist from Holland, Theo Bos (Cervélo) took the victory after winning the sprint of Briton Mark Cavendish (HTC-Columbia), the absolute favourite.
